The launch of 40 Oaks is an opportunity for Torontonians to share in the excitement of North America’s largest inner city redevelopment project. Powerful vignettes celebrating the people and organizations that have made Regent Park a true community showcased at the launch event, part of an overall program that continues to build momentum for the building and the organization.
In addition to providing a place for community supporters to come and see news about the 40 Oaks project, the website was highly effective as a fundraising tool. During the first week of operation the website donation tool enabled over $50,000 of donations to be collected through a campaign we designed and managed for our client. The integration of key social media tools to the website has broadened awareness and community support through an integrated, web enabled strategy.

We initially undertook development of the brand positioning for Whitney Linen, followed by the design of the website and marketing collateral. The Whitney woman represents timeless, classic, easy fashion. She is equally at home on the cobbled streets of Provence, in a sophisticated urban setting, or walking the beach on a Caribbean isle.
Our illustrative approach has been very successful in building awareness for the brand and we are now translating this to the Men’s collection.

This award-winning architecture firm has built a reputation for design excellence and wanted a website that would represent their projects in a more compelling and design-forward manner.
We also created an interactive video tour that brings visitors into the site and then leads them through the very visually-compelling portfolio. In addition, we wrote, produced and directed a video featuring a new residential project with the owners– telling the story of the design of this home from their viewpoint. Oolagen approached us to initially redesign their website – but once we started working with this dedicated group, we quickly realized that they needed a brand program. Prestigious Bay Street investment firm – BluMont Capital wanted to launch a new suite of products that were the first of its kind in Canada. An aspirational brand, we created the new name – Exemplar meaning ideal, model, archetype. The “X” has been drawn to illustrate the modern, technological environment while the “A” is reflective of the old world – erudite, traditional, educated and monied. This sense of both old and new fits well within the BluMont brand and speaks to the new product line as well as appealing to the aspirations of the target audience.

We worked with this client over 10 years ago when our team developed the brand and current visual identity. The client approached us again to rebrand the company that was looking to make extensive inroads into the US market as the largest Customs broker in North America. While a decision was made early on not to change the wordmark, the new tagline we created is a reflection of a more confident company with an aggressive expansion plan.
We absorbed and synthesized extensive research reports and conducted brand strategy workshops to then develop a highly-differentiated positioning. We also revised and rationalized the brand architecture developing a master brand. We have undertaken the brand rollout including tagline creation, redesign of all marketing collateral, ads and other print collateral and digital marketing materials.

Downtown Yonge Street was the focal point of a massive urban redevelopment project. As managing director for G+A, Justin directed both the strategic and creative teams in developing a totally new public image and branded environment, which recaptures the edge and excitement of Toronto’s main street. The urban excitement of Downtown Yonge has been emphasized by innovative graphics that has literally branded the street. Special events and advertising have been showcased on the street in a way that has built the Downtown Yonge brand and has provided a revenure stream for the Downtown Yonge BIA.

We developed a line of packaging – 12 skus for this eco-friendly product-line that harkens back to a simpler time (late 50’s early 60’s). Custom illustration and retro chic, it has been incredibly successful winning accolades and generating media interest for the brands and the parent firm. We also created the product names using alliteration to capture the fun and spirit of this company.
Our profile building extends to a cross-country media tour where the products have been featured on local and national networks (Canada AM, CityTV, Global and RogersTV).
